Millpond Cottage, located in an area perfect for hiking, provided a wonderful retreat for my family. As we enjoyed our breakfast on the balcony overlooking the serene river, we were greeted by ducks happily wading below. the personal touches in the cottage, such as stocked fridge and kitchen essentials, made our stay truly comfortable. Our host, Kate, was extremely welcoming and took the time to recommend local attractions and dining options. the cozy atmosphere of the cottage, complete with a log burner, ensured our evenings were warm and enjoyable. Our family particularly enjoyed the scenic walk along the river to Holmfirth, a delightful outing for all ages. Overall, Millpond Cottage exceeded our expectations with its charm, attention to detail, and friendly host. We look forward to returning for another relaxing stay in the future.
